Web3D Conference

Web3D

FOCUS. Web3D Conference activities are centered on 3D technologies for the World Wide Web. That means we have always been focused on all 3D graphics, all displays, all interaction, all people, all systems, everywhere.

BREADTH. The annual ACM Web3D Conference is a major event which unites researchers, developers, entrepreneurs, experimenters, artists and content creators in a dynamic learning environment. Attendees share and explore methods of using, enhancing and creating new 3D Web and Multimedia technologies such as X3D, VRML, Collada, MPEG family, U3D, Java3D and other technologies.

DEPTH. First begun in 1995 as the VRML Symposium, the Web3D Conference has always been sponsored by ACM SIGGRAPH in cooperation with ACM SIGGRAPH. You can learn more about conference publications and achievements at:

ONWARD. Interest areas include trends in interactive 3D graphics, information integration and usability in the wide range of Web3D applications from mobile devices to high-end immersive environments. Different views and perspectives provide insight! Together we help build the future technical basis for 3D on the Web.
