Competition Overview
We are excited to announce the AI & Web3D Innovation Challenge, an international competition seeking groundbreaking solutions that combine artificial intelligence with web-based 3D technologies. This competition invites developers, researchers, designers, and creative technologists to push the boundaries of what’s possible when AI meets immersive web experiences.
Competition Theme
Intelligent Immersive Experiences: Where AI Meets Web3D
Participants are challenged to create innovative applications that leverage AI technologies within Web3D environments, including but not limited to X3D, WebGL, WebGPU, Three.js, Babylon.js, A-Frame, or other web-based 3D frameworks.
1. AI-Driven Content Generation
Create tools or experiences that use AI to generate, modify, or enhance 3D content in real-time within web browsers.
2. Intelligent Virtual Environments
Develop immersive 3D spaces with AI-powered agents, NPCs, or assistants that interact naturally with users.
3. Adaptive & Personalized 3D Experiences
Build systems that use machine learning to personalize 3D web experiences based on user behavior, preferences, or context.
4. AI-Enhanced Visualization & Analytics
Design innovative 3D data visualization tools powered by AI for complex datasets, simulations, or analytics.
5. Open Innovation
Surprise us with novel applications that don’t fit traditional categories but showcase the synergy between AI and Web3D.
Eligibility
– Open to individuals and teams worldwide
– Students, professionals, researchers, and hobbyists welcome
– Teams may have up to 5 members
– Participants may submit to multiple categories
Submission Requirements
– Working Prototype: Browser-based application accessible via URL
– Source Code: GitHub repository (public or private with judge access)
– Documentation: Technical overview, architecture, AI models used, and Web3D frameworks employed
– Demo Video: 3-5 minute demonstration (required)
– Innovation Statement: Description of novelty and potential impact (max 500 words)

– Innovation & Originality (30%): Uniqueness of concept and approach
– Technical Excellence (25%): Quality of implementation, code, and architecture
– AI Integration (20%): Effective and meaningful use of AI technologies
– User Experience (15%): Usability, performance, and accessibility
– Impact & Scalability (10%): Potential real-world applications and scalability
