Computing-based Collaborative Model Data Computing Service Framework for Mobile Web Augmented Reality
Abstract. Mobile Web Augmented Reality (AR) provides users with quickly richer information interaction forms attributed to its convenience and universality. However, the 3D model data service for mobile Web AR is centralized file- based data service format, which cannot simultaneously meet the diverse user requirements and response delay requirements in large-scale and com- plex applications at the same time. To this end, we propose a Collaborative Model Data Computing Service Framework (CMCSF) for mobile Web AR between mobile edge servers, cloud servers, and mobile devices. The CMCSF converts the file-based 3D model data service method in mobile Web AR to a computing-based and interfaced data service, to meet the diverse service requirements of users. CMCSF establishes a collaborative computing environment for the model data computing service between the mobile edge server and the cloud server. And it proposes the effectiveness strategy and deployment strategy of the collaborative computing model data service for reducing the response delay of 3D model data.
