In this context, 360\u25e6 imagery is attracting lots of interest, since it offers a cost-effective solution for wide scene coverage in a single shot and, when viewed through Head-Mounted Displays (HMDs), it naturally supports 3D exploration via head movements. However, a single panorama remains a flat and static representation. Participants will gain hands-on experience in modeling, rendering, and publishing 3D artifacts, alongside best practices for optimizing user experience across various devices. We will present tools, work flows, pipelines and some examples.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We will cover Blender as a development engine as it\u2019s a free, open-source 3D creation tool for modeling, animation, rendering. In addition, Blender exports to glTF and integrates with game engines. Exporting digital heritage content from Blender to glTF involves a well-defined workflow to ensure accurate geometry, textures, and metadata preservation. X3D can be used to add visual annotation to glTF assets, provide powerful navigation and exploration aids, and combine&nbsp; assets from multiple sources in a single scene.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Attendees will also be presented with a demonstration on how to use RawKee Python Edition [1] to export X3D content from Autodesk Maya.
